WCU EMS is a volunteer ambulance service that covers emergencies for the campus community. Western's EMS team operates under the general guidance and license of Jackson County EMS. The team is composed of students who are certified emergency medical technicians and/or paramedics. This servse for students is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week when classes are in session, and is dispached by dialing 911. EMT students interested in participating please call 227-4099.
