WCU provides a comprehensive system of academic support to students. Services are available to all students, free of charge, and are often used by high-achieving students.
The Writing and Learning Commons' services are designed to build a solid foundation for college success. You can participate in course-specific, small group tutoring sessions or receive individual academic skill consultations. Tutors are successful students who are recommended by the faculty and participate in certified training. The WALC also offers one-on-one peer tutoring for writing across the curriculum. Trained graduate assistants from English and other departments interact collaboratively with students to strengthen both the paper and the writer. Call to schedule an appointment.
