CAPS offers after-hours emergency coverage (when school is in session) for trauma and life-threatening situations such as suicide and sexual assault. To activate this system you can call the Communication Center Switchboard affiliated with University Police. Ask to speak to the Counselor-on-Call and be prepared to give contact information so that the appropriate CAPS staff person may contact you as soon as possible.

During Summer terms, on-call counselors are available during office hours with after hour community services back-up.
