In support of the mission of the university, the Division of Student Affairs is committed
to student personal, social and intellectual development within a diverse community
by providing comprehensive programs, services, outreach activities and facilities
which enhance the ability of current and prospective students to apply learning outcomes,
develop independent thought, take advantage of community involvement and understand
global responsibility.
A.K. Hinds University Center Mission Statement
The mission of the A.K. Hinds University Center is to provide an interactive focal
point for the Western Carolina University community and its visitors through programs,
resources, and services with the aim to impact and enhance their ongoing developmental
experiences.
