Kay Turpin
Business & Technology Analyst
Kay Turpin is a Business and Technology Analyst in the Office of Institutional Research and Planning within the Chancellor's Division. Employed at Western since 1984, she taught computer information systems courses in the College of Business for six years before joining the OIRP office.
She holds a bachelors of science degree in computer science and mathematics from California State University at Chico, and a masters of science degree in computer science from the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville.
Kay and her husband, John, have two grown sons. In her free time, Kay volunteers extensively for The Community Table in Sylva, which she has been involved with since 2002 and currently serves on the board of directors.
