2017 Total Solar Eclipse: Watch it Live Here

WCU broadcasting solar eclipse from the path of totality

Experience the 2017 solar eclipse with WCU

The 67-mile wide path of totality for the 2017 solar eclipse will pass over the campus of Western Carolina University at 2:35 p.m. today. The Cullowhee campus will experience nearly 2 minutes of darkness, a phenomenon that will not return to western North Carolina for another 136 years. As today is also the first day of classes, campus is not open to the public for viewing, but we are broadcasting the eclipse live as part of a 45-minute educational program featuring experts on the science, history and culture of the eclipse.

Join us live here at 2 p.m. today, or watch it live on Facebook or YouTube.
