How do I Add/Drop classes?
Go to the WCU home page: www.wcu.edu
  • Select "My Cat" from the "WCU Quick Links" drop-down menu.
  • Enter your username (WCU Student ID Number -- no hyphens).
  • Enter your password (Six-digit Personal Identification Number, PIN).
  • Click on "Personal Services".
  • Click on the "Registration" link below Student Services/Financial Aid icon.
  • Select the term and click submit.
  • Click on "Add/Drop Classes".
  • Enter your Alternate PIN Number (if prompted, six-digit number given to you by your advisor and click submit. Not required for DLP and graduates students).
  • Scroll down the screen.
  • Enter the 5-digit CRN (Course Reference Number) in the Add Class table for each course.
  • When you finish entering all your courses, click on the"Submit" button.
  • A message will be displayed indicating the status of the request.
  • To drop a course(s), click in the action column "Web/Drop". Click on "Submit Changes".

How do I search for classes?

  • At the bottom of the Add/Drop Classes table, click on "Class Search."
  • Select the subject.
  • Enter the course number.
  • Enter any other fields you wish to narrow the search.
  • Click on "Class Search."
  • To register, check the box in front of the CRN number.
  • Click "Register" at the bottom of the screen.
  • A message will be displayed indicating the status of the request.
