Who
must meet Liberal Studies Program?
- New
students who will enroll at WCU Fall 2001 or later,
- Transfer
students who will not have satisfied the General Education
requirements at a NC Community College as per the NCCC-GA
Comprehensive Articulation Agreement
- Students
(enrolled prior to Fall 2001) for whom a Change of Major
request is received Fall 2001 or later.
- Returning
WCU students for Fall 2001 or later who have not attended
WCU for a year or longer.

assist student and advisors who began General Education requirements
and must now meet Liberal Studies Program requirements due to
either a change/declaration of major effective Fall 2001 or
did not attend WCU for a year or longer. |

Studies - NC Community College Equivalents |
To
assist students who do NOT intend to complete
the 44 hour General Education requirements of their home NC
Community College (as per the NCCC-GA Comprehensive Articulation
Agreement), but instead intend to take a limited number of courses
to transfer to WCU's Liberal Studies Program. |
