VETERANS' DAY PROGRAM SET
FOR NOV. 11 AT WESTERN

CULLOWHEE – A Veterans' Day program, “America 's Forgotten Heroes,” will be held at 4 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 11, in the second floor atrium of Western's A.K. Hinds University Center.

The ceremony will feature U.S. Marine Corps veteran and North Carolina resident Perry C. Money, who will speak about the history of military working dogs and, in particular, their contributions during the Vietnam War.

Money is a member of the National War Dog Memorial Committee, an organization seeking support for the establishment of a national war dog team memorial in Washington, D.C. A replica war dog memorial will be displayed at the ceremony.
