WESTERN AND MOUNTAIN MICROENTERPRISE FUND
TO SPONSOR SEMINAR FOR INCREASING WEB TRAFFIC

CULLOWHEE – The Small Business and Technology Development Center at Western Carolina University and the Mountain Microenterprise Fund will sponsor a seminar to help businesses and organizations learn how to increase Web site traffic on Friday, Aug. 27, in Asheville.

“How to Market Your Web Site Like Nobody's Business,” presented by Sidhe Communications, will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Mountain Microenterprise Fund, 29 ½ Page Ave.

The seminar will cover how businesses can prepare articles for distribution on the Internet with hot links to their Web sites. Participants will learn how to write a brief biography, generate story ideas and format articles for editorial review at Web portals.

The Small Business and Technology Development Center is an interinstitutional program of The University of North Carolina system in partnership with the United States Small Business Association, and has a regional service center located at Western. It is North Carolina's primary business assistance program, offering free business counseling statewide to help businesses meet challenges, manage change and plan for the future.
