HERITAGE CENTER SPONSORING Western Carolina University's Mountain Heritage Center will host its fifth annual aquatic life survey from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 17. Designed for children ages 6 to 12, the program provides an opportunity for participants to investigate aquatic life that lives in and around Cullowhee Creek, which flows across the WCU campus. Parents are required to attend with their children, and everyone should wear shoes that are OK to get wet. Participants will meet at the Mountain Heritage Center before heading out to conduct the survey. The museum is located on the ground floor of H.F. Robinson Administration Building . The program is free. Reservations are necessary, and can be made by calling the museum at (828) 227-7129. |
