Suite 25 Implementation
Our Mission: To utilize time and space at WCU to create optimal learning opportunities for our students
What is Suite 25?
-
A trio of three space management tools that allow for the tracking and scheduling of academic and non-academic spaces on our campus
-
Resource 25 is the space management arm of the product that stores room and space data for the campus.
-
Schedule 25 is the academic scheduling algorithm that takes academic classes passed to it from Banner and schedules academic rooms for class meetings.
- X25 is the reporting tool that provides management-level data on the utilization of campus spaces
We are off to a good start in our plans to use SUITE 25 for our space scheduling needs. Over the summer administrative assistants have worked diligently to identify attributes of each and every space on campus. The deans were recently involved in an information session concerning the new processes of assigning spaces to courses. The September workshop for department heads will focus on the new scheduling and space assignment process and training opportunities for all stakeholders are being planned for the fall semester. More updates will be provided as we progress through this process.
