About the Band

One of the most exciting and innovative marching bands in the southeast, the "Pride of the Mountains" perform at all home football games and perform exhibitions at high school band events each fall.

Approximately 60% of its members are non music majors. The band is open to all Western Carolina students regardless of class or major.

Auditions are held for colorguard and drum line during the summer, please look on the website for further details.
