“The Cathouse Band plays at all home basketball games during the Spring semester. There is a large band of approximately 100 members for Men's Basketball games open to all students and a smaller band of 20 members for Women's Basketball games that is determined by auditions at the end of the Fall semester. Members of the Women's pep band receive a scholarship for playing at 10 games through the semester. The Cathouse band wears referee jerseys because we are a very vocal ensemble involved in the process of calling the game as we see it! Some opportunities involved with the Cathouse Band are the chance to travel with the Basketball teams to the Southern Conference Tournament and NCAA Tournament.”
