2008 Colorguard Audition Information

The "Pride of the Mountains" Marching Band will be holding auditions for the fall 2008 color guard on May 17 with makeup/callback auditions June 14.  Auditions will be held on Western Carolina University's campus and will begin Saturday morning with a basic stretch/warm-up. Auditions will include a body/dance block and a flag block that will be taught that day.  Audition pieces will be performed in small groups at the end of the day.  Those who are interested are invited to audition for rifle afterward.  The rifle line and drill spots will be set at band camp. Flags will be provided, but rifles will not.  Keep your eye on prideofthemountains.com for a detailed schedule to be posted shortly.
