1155 07-00124 Vandalism Big Cat Lot Report

     A student called today to report that between 12/13 and 12/14/06
two of her vehicle's tires were cut while it was parked in the Big Cat
parking lot.


1234 07-00127 Larceny Reynolds Hall Report

     Officers are investigating a report that one chair is missing from
each of the study's in Reynolds Hall.



2035 07-00134 Alcohol/Skateboarding Violations McKee lot

     A student received a UJC referral for underage consumption of
alcohol and violation of the campus skateboarding policy.




0010 07-00141 Drug Violation Airport Report

     Officers investigating a suspicious vehicle near the Airport
recovered a small amount of marijuana. No charges were filed.


0113 07-00142 Alcohol overdose Harrill Hall Report

     Officers assisted EMS with a possible alcohol overdose at Harrill
Hall. The student was evaluated by EMS and refused transport to a
medical facility.


0300 07-00148 Traffic Violation Centennial Drive Report

     Officers issued a state citation to a student for unsafe movement
after observing her driving on Centennial Drive.


0450 07-00150 Drug Violation Leatherwood Hall Referrals x

     Two students received UJC referrals for possession of marijuana and
paraphernalia at Leatherwood Hall.


0745 07-00150 Vandalism Benton Hall Report

     Officers are investigated a fire extinguisher being discharged in a
bathroom at Benton Hall.









2130 07-00137 Skateboarding Violation Methodist Church Lot

     Officers issued a UJC referral to a male student for violation of
the campus skateboarding policy.


2137 07-00157 Traffic Violation Central Drive Citation

     A student received a state citation for speeding on Central Drive.


2300 07-00158 DWI/Drug Violation Catamount Peaks Arrest

     A student was arrested for DWI and possession of marijuana /
paraphernalia following traffic stop for speeding on Forrest Hills Road.


2315 07-00159 Harassment Norton Hall Report

     Officers are investigating a student receiving harassing phone
calls and threats from an unidentified individual.



0027 07-00160 Noise/parking complaint Village Report

     Officers responded twice to a sorority event speaking to
representatives regarding noise complaints and parking around the
Commons building in the Village.


0610 07-00163 Delay Officer Village Report

     An intoxicated male student fell while attempting to run from the
police. He was transported by EMS to Harris Hospital, evaluated, and
then released by the hospital to a responsible adult. The student was
charged with delaying a public officer.




2210 07-00171 Warrant Service Benton Hall Report

     Officers assisted Sylva Police with the service of a warrant on a
WCU student.


0030 07-00177 Mutual Aid Central/SR1002 Report

     Officers assisted Jackson County Deputies with a driver's license
checkpoint at SR1002 and Central Drive.


0050 07-00178 Alcohol Violation Central Drive Referral

     Officers issued a UJC referral to a student underage consumption of

    Officers observed a vehicle attempt to avoid an official license
checkpoint. The driver, who was a student, received a UJC referral for
being under 21 and consuming alcohol then driving a vehicle.

     A student was arrested for DWI during the checkpoint on Central


1719 07-00187 Unauthorized Entry Harrill Report

     Officers are investigating the entry of a student's room without
authorization from the student.
