INCIDENTS

 

4/29 1225 ROOMMATE DISPUTE SCOTT
REPORT

                        A student and her parents reported that a TV was
missing from

                        her room in Scott. The TV was found in the
hallway on the 5th

                        floor. Officers found that the male student who
took the TV

                        had been let into the room by the roommate who
had been in

                        a running conflict with the victim. The student
who took the

                        TV said the victim owed him money. Officers
returned the

                        TV to the victim and told the suspect that he
must follow other

                        avenues to collect his money.

 

1615 HARASSING PHONE CALLS ASHEVILLE REPORT

                        A retired faculty member reported that she was
receiving

                        harassing phone calls from a former student.
She was

                        instructed to call the Asheville Police since
she lives in

                        Asheville.

 

4/30 1302 ALARM MOORE
NO FIRE

                        Officers were dispatched to Moore about a fire
alarm and

                        found no alarm sounding when they arrived.

 

            1410 HARASSING PHONE CALLS BUCHANAN
INVESTIGATION

                        A student reported that she was receiving
harassing phone calls

                        from a former boyfriend. The investigation is
continuing.

 

            1640 DISTURBANCE TRACK
REPORT

                        An auxiliary officer reported that a couple was
consuming alcohol

                        at the track after being warned that this was
not allowed. Officers

                        counseled the couple and released them.

 

            2206 ARGUMENT ALBRIGHT
REPORT

                        Officers responded to a report of a fight in
Albright. They found

                        that a resident and a non-resident had been
involved in an

                        argument. Referred.

 

            2306 VANDALISM METHODIST CH LOT
INVESTIGATION

                        A student reported that someone had broken a
door handle from

                        his vehicle between 6:30 p. m. and 11:15 p. m.

 

 

5/1 0038 DISORDERLY CONDUCT REYNOLDS ARREST

                        Officers contacted a male student who was
intoxicated and

                        shouting at RAs in Reynolds. They found that
the student

                        sad also been disruptive in Buchanan by trying
to get into

                        a room from outside. When officers ordered the
student to

                        go to his room, he refused. He was arrested.

 

            0417 LARCENY CENTENNIAL
REFERRED

                        Officers found a male student who had stolen a
traffic barrel from

                        Centennial Drive and carried it to Walker. The
subject was

                        referred to Judicial Affairs.

 

0905 LARCENY FROM VEHICLE HARRILL INVESTIGATION

                        A student reported that someone had entered his
vehicle and stolen

                        a CD player between 4/29 and 5/1.

 

            1220 LARCENY FROM VEHICLE HARRILL
INVESTIGATION

                        Another student reported that someone had stolen
a CD player from

                        his vehicle between 4/30 and 5/1.

 

            1602 HARASSING PHONE CALLS HARRILL
INVESTIGATION

                        A student reported that he was receiving
harassing phone calls from

                        an unknown male.
