Report

            Overcooked popcorn set off an alarm. Alarm was reset.

            Officers assisted an elderly driver who had become confused.

            Offices responded to an alarm at the Outreach Center. No

            Trouble located.

            Officers responded to an alarm set off accidentally.

Further Investigation

            A student reported the theft of a bicycle.

 

1615 Roommate Dispute Scott Hall
Report

            Officers were asked to document a roommate dispute.

 

1640 Accident Centennial Dr.
Report

            Officers investigated a minor traffic accident.

 

1720 Alarm FPA
Report

            Officers responded to an alarm. No trouble located.

 

2112 Underage Possession Scott Hall
Referred

            Several students were referred to Judicial Affairs for
having

            a large amount of alcohol in their room.

 

2115 No Insurance Central Dr.
Citation

            Officers cited a female student for no insurance on her
vehicle.

 

2320 Elude Arrest NC107
Arrest

            University officers noticed skid marks on NC107 at Little
Savannah Rd.

            As officers investigated, the car that left the skid marks
left the scene

            and failed to stop for blue lights and siren. The car
traveled in the wrong

            lane of traffic on Little Savannah Rd. The car then ran
into a field, the driver jumped

out and ran on foot. A foot chase ensued. Officers lost him. A
wrecker was called

            to impound the vehicle. It was learned the vehicle had been
seen earlier at

            the Laurel Oaks Apartments. The driver, a student, was
found at the apartments

and arrested. He is charged with flee/elude arrest with motor vehicle,
reckless driving,

resisting public officer, failure to heed light or siren and no
operator's license. University

officers were assisted by Jackson County Deputies.
