Craft Revival Project - DVD Writer Update

1) Install 7-Zip

FIREFOX OR INTERNET EXPLORER:

Click on this link - 7-ZIP

You'll be taken to a website and a Save box. Click Save File.

FIREFOX ONLY

INTERNET EXPLORER ONLY

You'll see a window like this. When the file finishes downloading, click Open next to the 7z457.exe file.

You may have to shut off your security in order to download the file. If you see this line, circled in red below, click the line to allow the download. Another box will open. Click Download.

Another box will open, asking you to Run, Save, or Cancel. Click Save. Choose your Desktop as the save location.

When the file finishes downloading, click Run.

The 7-Zip Install program will open. Click Install.

It'll run for a few seconds, then complete. Click Finish.

2) Download Update File

FIREFOX ONLY

INTERNET EXPLORER ONLY

Click on this file.

A box will open. Click next to Open with, then click Browse.

Click on this file.

A box will open. Click Save.

Browse to your C Drive, then Program Files, then 7-Zip.

Browse to your Desktop. Click Save.

Select 7zFM, then click Open.

At the next box, click OK.

A box opens when the download is complete. Click Open.

A box will open. Click next to Select the Program from a List. Click OK.

A box will open. Click Browse.

Browse to your C Drive, then Program Files, then 7-Zip. Click Open.

A box will open, showing 7-Zip selected as the file with which to open the downloaded file. Click Ok.

3) Run the Update File

After opening the 1633S.BSOY.rar file, you'll get a new window.

Double-click the 1633S.Bsoy.... file, circled in red in the picture below.

Another window will open, you'll see the file proceeding, and when it is finished, you can close out the window and your DVD will be fixed! :)
