Something Curious-The Comet being postponed, the superstitions have got up another cause of fright. It has been discovered within a few days that the large blades of the growing crop of oats are distinctly marked with the letter B on the lower side of the blade. The color of the part forming the letter is distinguished from the general color of the leaf by a light yellow shade ' may be easily discovered. We do not know that oats blades have always been thus marked, nor have we heard of anyone who has, until this year, discovered that they were. At any rate it has excited some curiosity here and further west. And, as usual the superstitious are alarmed. For 'B being interpreted,' as the initial letter of blood-or Black Hawk.
