We have neglected to inform our readers, that the Essays of this able
writer, which have had such extensive circulation in the newspapers of the land,
have been published in Boston, and New York, in a handsome pamphlet form, containing,
including an appendix, 112 pages. We feel ourselves much obliged
to the worthy author for a copy of the work.
In noticing these essays, Mr. Thompson, of Georgia, was pleased to call
them "trash". This is a summary way of answering them, which any person,
wise or dunce can do.
