International Education Week

International Education Week

International Education Week is a weeklong event in November celebrating the importance of different cultures and global awareness. There will be various events held this week with free food, performances, and more!

Everyone is welcome to join. If you would like to participate or have an event to contribute to this week, please contact the office on how to get involved.

Study Abroad Showcase

Study Abroad Showcase

The Study Abroad Showcase takes place during International Education Week and will include presentations from study abroad alumni about their study abroad experience.

This event also gives prospective study abroad students the opportunity to talk with students that have been abroad, and ask any questions they may have.

International Festival

International Festival

This event takes place in the spring and is held outside by the fountain for the day. There is a parade where international students and study abroad alumni carry a flag of their country, a variety of music and performances, and booths from different countries and organizations providing information, goodies, or food and drinks to sample.

It provides the community with a unique opportunity to engage and explore world cultures and fascinating traditions through food, music, dance, and artistry.

Study Abroad Fair

Study Abroad Fair

The Study Abroad Fair gives prospective study abroad students the opportunity to learn about programs for the summer, a semester, a year, and for faculty-led. There will be different country tables represented by either study abroad alumni or international students, which gives prospective students the opportunity to ask specific country-related questions.

There will also be third-party provider tables that have study abroad programs in a variety of locations all over the world and can give out a lot of information and possible benefits of studying through their organization.

International Coffee Hour

International Coffee Hour

International Coffee Hour is a bi-weekly event held by I-Cats (International Cats) where a group of American students and international students come together to hang out, have some coffee and snacks, give presentations on where they're from, and plan excursions together!

All WCU students, staff, and faculty are welcome.
