About the Coulter Faculty Commons

ABOUT THE COULTER FACULTY COMMONS

The CFC's staff strive to lead our faculty members through the promotion of an established blend of pedagogy, technology, and research, not only to support success in the classroom, but also professional development by designing activities and consultations that spread excitement for scholarly growth.  We want Western Carolina University faculty to know they are a part of an academic community where there are continuous open discussions and support for teaching and learning activities.  Where senior faculty remember why they first became teachers and where junior faculty seek excellence in teaching and research, and where new faculty and graduate teaching assistants experience a wise and compassionate teaching internship or apprenticeship.
