UPCOMING OPPORTUNITY: Arts & Entrepreneurship Networking Night

Join us for a catered reception and a night of networking with regional arts professionals, students from WCU’s Arts & Entrepreneurship Certificate Program and faculty from the Belcher College of Fine & Performing Arts. The event is from 5:30-7:00PM in the Bardo Arts Center Star Atrium.

Below is a selection of suggestions and advice that can be applied to networking and your professional career. 

  • Be yourself
  • Be engaged
  • Ask questions
  • Bring calling/business cards*
  • Be sincere and show an interest
  • Be prepared to follow-up after the event
  • Dress for success (but wear shoes you can stand/walk in)

   *Calling/Business card: this should list your name, phone number, email address, and discipline.
