Accreditation for the College of Engineering and Technology

Academic accreditation is a voluntary process undertaken by colleges and universities to ensure that a program or institution meets established quality standards for post-secondary education. Continued accreditation requires a periodic review by private, non-governmental organizations seeking to uphold and promote the quality of institutions and their academic programs.

Engineering and Technology

The College of Engineering and Technology offers three programs accredited by ABET. Our Electrical Engineering program is accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET. The on-campus Engineering Technology - Applied Systems program and the Electrical and Computer Engineering Technology program are accredited by the Engineering Technology Accreditation Commission of ABET.

EAC of ABET Accreditation will be sought in 2017 for the B.S.in Engineering.

Construction Management

The Kimmel School's undergraduate construction management program is accredited by the American Council for Construction Education. ACCE is recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) as the accrediting agency for baccalaureate and associate degree programs in construction, construction science, construction management and construction.
