At WCU, you'll find the support you need for your specific situation. The Office of Student Support Services provides services and resources to four groups within the student body:
- Students who are first generation college students (parents do not have Bachelor's degrees)
- Students who meet income guidelines set by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS)
- Emancipated youth, formerly homeless or without consistent residence, or aged out of foster care
- Students participating in Academic Success Program (ASP)
Polish your study skills or meet with a personal tutor. Talk to an academic advisor about registration, what classes to take, and how to choose a major or a career. Plus a lot more.
We provide academic support for all program participants, but we also help with more than academics. Whether you need personal counseling, help in making the transition to college life, or career advice, we're here for you.
