STAR Community Enagement Projects

WCU places a high premium on our mission as an engaged university and, to that end, the STAR Engagement Projects program has been established. Facilitated primarily through the data submitted to the annual Community-based Activities Faculty Survey, the STAR Engagement Projects program focuses on those submissions that provided a description of an exemplary project and the partners involved in a mutually beneficial and collaborative community partnership, a clear involvement of students in a curricular and/or co-curricular manner, and an intentional faculty/staff engagement and commitment to the project.  Here are the 2015-2016 STAR Engagement Projects:
