Our Services

Take Advantage of our Services...
The Center for Career and Professional Development is here to assist you. All of our services are available to you as a student and as an alumnus, most at no cost.

  • We can help you find a part-time job on or off of campus
  • JobCat 2.0 - Where we post full time jobs and internships for students and alumni.
  • Peer Career Mentors are available from 2:00-4:00pm Monday-Friday for drop-ins.
  • Resume and cover letter critiquing.
  • Mock Interviewing
  • Career counseling and career decision making.
  • Career events and career fairs
  • FOCUS-2 is an online, interactive system that combines self-assessment, major and career exploration, and career decision making.
  • Use GoToMeeting to meet online with a career counselor to discuss any of these services or tasks!


Internship Assistance

Let the Center for Career and Professional Development assist you in finding an internship. Many companies will be interviewing on-campus for internships or you may know of an organization with whom you wish to work. Mission

The Center for Career and Professional Development’s mission enhances the teaching and learning of students and alumni by supporting them in the development of self-awareness, identification and integration of career and academic goals with real-world experiences, and expansion and articulation of professional competencies to succeed in post-graduate experiences.

Vision

To be regionally recognized as a provider of expertise on college student professional development and to connect students, faculty, and community partners for the economic development of our region.
