WCU launches new online registration system for
professional development
A new employee learning management and training registration system for WCU professional
development will be launched online during the 2008 spring semester. TrainingRegister®
will become the central registration point for all professional development offerings.
TrainingRegister® will allow:
- Easy enrollment in training sessions
- Faculty and staff to view their professional development history
- Better record keeping for AFE/TPR and/or career banding professional development
- Registrants to cancel/drop from training sessions on their own
- Participants to find out which training sessions/programs are required and which
of these they have missed
Spring 2008 Workshops Scheduled
Scheduled Spring 2008 workshops are open to any Western faculty, staff,
or student at no charge unless otherwise stated. If space is available,
non-Western persons may register for designated workshops, with preference
given to the spouses and other family members of Western employees.
How to Register
To register for a training session, you will need to visit the WCU TrainingRegister®
web site (http://trainingreg/trainingregister7/login.asp).
If you are not associated with Western or a student and you want to attend one or more
workshops, you may register yourself manually. If you are not associated with
Western there may be small fee charged to attend a session. Please call the Division of Educational Outreach at 227-7397 for more information.
