The primary focus of www.wcu.edu is on prospective students and other external visitors. MyCat portal mycat.wcu.edu will be the primary web site for our internal users—students, faculty and staff—and provide information from the main site plus additional internal information.
In the fall the Division of Information Technology (IT) will begin implementing an identity management system that will permit single sign-on. When that is in place, the process of revising MyCat and other intranet tools can begin. As WCU develops its plan for MyCat, internal users will be asked for input in redesigning the internal web presence. |
