E-Classroom Technology Instructions

Projector

To turn projector on, press the “ON” button on the control unit, note the “on” button will not immediately illuminate, but the projector will come on in less than 30 seconds.

To turn projector off, press the “OFF” button, note the projector will take 3 minutes to cool down before it will come back on (“off” will flash during this period).

Use the “DISPLAY MUTE” button to hide projector image while teaching
Use the “DISPLAY UN-MUTE” button to unhide the image.

Computer

To use PC, turn on projector, then press the “PC” button on the control unit.
Turn on the computer and make sure monitor is on.

Document Camera

To use doc cam, turn on projector and then turn on doc cam (green button)
Press the “DOC CAM” button on the control unit.

Laptop Input

To use a laptop, plug laptop in using provided cable labeled “Laptop
Press “LAPTOP” button on control unit.
To use audio from laptop, plug in audio cable provided with main cable.

DVD/VCR

To use DVD/VCR unit, turn on projector and press “DVD/VCR” button on control unit and then turn on DVD/VCR (use remote to control DVD/VCR).

Audio

To adjust audio, use the “VOLUME” knob on the control unit after selecting the corresponding input that you will be using.

For Assistance

Press the “HELP DESK” button on the IP Intercom, once.  Someone will return your call promptly.  You do not have to press button again to talk.
