Insert the USB Drive into the appropriate port.
A ‘balloon' window will appear in the lower right hand corner of the screen notifying you that the system had detected a new drive and was installing the appropriate drivers for a mass storage device.
Open up ‘My Computer' to see if it mapped correctly. The drive should display under the section “Devices with Removable Storage”.
If it does not display, close the window and ‘right click' on the ‘My Computer' icon on the desktop and select ‘Manage'.
Select ‘Disk Management'.
On the right side of the screen, select the ‘pen' drive.
Right click on the ‘pen' drive and select “Change drive letter and paths”.
In the window that appears, select “Change”.
In the next ‘window' select the radio button beside ‘Assign the following drive letter'.
Change the drive letter to something that is not in use. You can tell what is in use by the path that is displayed beside the used letters. We recommend something between the letters M and S. Select ‘OK' to continue.
Click ‘OK' to continue again.
The drive should map and prompt you to view the folders or display media content. To see the contents of the drive, select view folders. |
