Obtaining NC Driver's License from NCDMV

The following documents should be taken with you for test(s):

  1. Social Security card (or denial letter from social security office if you are not eligible for a card)
  2. Passport
  3. I-94 card / DS-2019 / I-20 (according to status)
  4. Proof of residence in the state of North Carolina such as:
    1. Bank Statement showing your NC address
    2. Current Lease agreement
    3. Employer verification
    4. Current utility bill (i.e.: water, electricity or gas)
