There are several options available for obtaining books and journal articles not physically located in Hunter Library.
[Note: Students taking Distance Education classes refer to the Not in Cullowhee? page.]
Electronic Version in the Library Catalog - Begin your search in the Library Catalog. If a journal has articles which are available full text in one of the Library's databases, the phrase "Electronic Version" will appear after the journal title. Click on this link to search for the full text of the article.
ABC Express - If the book or journal is owned by ASU or UNCA (but not WCU), click on the "Request ABC" button and the ABC Express delivery service will deliver the volume to Hunter Library for you to use.
Interlibrary Loan (ILL) Service - If a book or journal is not listed in the Library Catalog, Library staff will locate the book, article, or other item and request that it be sent to Hunter Library for you. To use this service complete and submit the Online Order Form found at the above link.
If you need assistance with any of the above options, please stop by or call the Reference Desk at 828-227-7465 or toll free at 866-928-5424.
