HR & Orientation: Within this grouping you will find information on employee orientation sessions offered as well as various Human Resources related topics such as benefits, personnel policies and procedures, Career Banding, employee relations, and recruitment and selection.
Job Skills and How Tos: This is where you will find training resources to help you do those every-day tasks such as navigating Resource25, reserving State vehicles, requesting travel reimbursements, understanding purchasing procedures, etc.
Mgmt/Professional: Are you a supervisor looking to sharpen your leadership skills? Perhaps you are an aspiring leader with ambitions to rise through the ranks, or maybe you are just interested in becoming more effective in your current job. WCU launches new online registration system for professional development
A new employee learning management and training registration system for WCU professional development will be launched online during the 2008 spring semester. TrainingRegister® will become the central registration point for all professional development offerings.
TrainingRegister® will allow:
- Easy enrollment in training sessions
- Faculty and staff to view their professional development history
- Better record keeping for AFE/TPR and/or career banding professional development
- Registrants to cancel/drop from training sessions on their own
- Participants to find out which training sessions/programs are required and which of these they have missed.
