Outreach Programs
The Nature Center offers a wide variety of science and nature day classes and outreach programs for ages preK - adult that can be tailored to your needs. Classes are designed to meet the requirements for the North Carolina Science Standard Course of Study and may take place at either the Nature Center or your school/facility. Nature Center and Botanical Garden Tours are generally free of charge, but contributions are appreciated. For all other educational classes and outreach programs, a donation of 50¢ per participant is usually requested. For more information contact the Nature Center at 828-526-2623.
