General Information

The Fine and Performing Arts Center at Western Carolina University is located on the corner of University Way and Centennial Drive in Cullowhee, North Carolina. Box office hours are Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and one hour before each performance.

WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBILITY

Entrances to the Fine and Performing Arts Center are wheelchair accessible. Please inform the Ticket Office if you are in need of handicapped seating.

ASSISTED LISTENING

Infrared assisted listening devices are available for all Galaxy of Stars presentations. They may be obtained at the Ticket Desk. A driver's license will be requested as a deposit. To assure service is ready, please request the listening device when purchasing your tickets and return devices to the Ticket Desk at the end of the performance.

FOOD & BEVERAGES

No food or beverage is allowed in the FAPAC auditorium. Please visit our concessions before the show as well as intermission.

HOUSE COURTESIES:

Patrons arriving late will be seated at the discretion of the management in the closest available seats. All performances begin promptly at the designated show time.

GROUP RATES:

Are available on individual shows for groups of fifteen or more.

SMOKING:

The WCU Fine and Performing Arts Center is a smoke-free facility.

PHOTOGRAPHY AND RECORDING DEVICES:

Our contracts with artists strictly prohibit photography of any type as well as audio and video recording. No photography or recording is permitted at the FAPAC due to U.S. copyright laws.

SEATING:

It is our policy to open the house one half hour before curtain time. In some care, technical considerations may delay opening.

IN CASE OF FIRE:

In the unlikely event of a fire, please locate the nearest exit. Following the instructions of the House Manager, walk to the nearest exit.

CELL PHONES, PAGERS AND SIMILAR DEVICES:

As a courtesy to the performers and other audience members, please turn off all watch alarms, cell phones, pagers, and other electronic devices.

CHILDREN:
A ticket is required for everyone entering the theatre, including infants and young children. We love kids, but infants and young children can be disruptive to a live performance. As a courtesy to audience members and performers, please use discretion in choosing to bring a child. Should a child become distracting you may be asked to wait in the lobby. We do not recommend that children under the age of 5 attend performances.

PAYMENTS/RESEVATIONS:
Can be made in person, online( www.wcu.edu/fapac ), by mail or phone with MasterCard and Visa. Single ticket orders must be guaranteed with a valid credit card.

GIFT CERTIFICATES:

Available for subscription tickets and single ticket orders.

REFUNDS AND EXCHANGES:

All ticket sales are final. Refunds are given only if a performance is cancelled. You must return your ticket within 30 days of the cancelled performance in order to receive a refund.

RECEIVING YOUR TICKETS:

Single tickets are mailed within 24 hours after the order has been placed. Otherwise, tickets will be held at the will call window.

COMPLAINTS, PROBLEMS,

If you have a problem while attending a performance, please ask to speak with the house manager.

ALL TICKET SALES ARE FINAL. NO EXCHANGES OR REFUNDS UNLESS A PERFORMANCE IS CANCELLED.
