Satisfactory academic progress policy: In order to receive financial aid, you must be making satisfactory academic progress (SAP).
Satisfactory academic progress appeal process and form: If you receive a notice of ineligibility for federal aid based on SAP guidelines, you may send a SAP appeal form, a signed and dated letter of appeal and all supporting documentation, in accordance with the satisfactory academic progress appeal process and calendar.
Alternative Loans: If you do not meet SAP, you can apply for a private alternative loan. Make sure the loan does not require SAP.

- To receive aid for Fall 2013 term, you should submit an appeal between May 7, 2013 and August 9, 2013.
- To receive aid for the Spring 2014 term, you should submit an appeal between October 3, 2013 and January 3, 2014.
