If you are a newly admitted student, you can check the status of your financial aid using the Catamount Gateway.

You are encouraged to check your financial aid status regularly to see if any additional information is needed, or to see any changes in your financial aid award package.

For all required documents
Follow these steps:

• Log into the Catamount Gateway https://itapp.wcu.edu/NewAdmit/ 
• Use your student ID
• Select View Financial Aid Information
• More Information will take you to the Financial Aid forms webpage at http://www.wcu.edu/3223.asp
• Select Financial Aid Forms for the aid year you will first be attending WCU.

Forms can be mailed, faxed, scanned and emailed to the Financial Aid Office or turned in at the One Stop service counter. Make sure that the student's name and Student ID are on all documents submitted to the financial aid office and that all documents are signed. Please allow 48 hours for documents to be posted to your financial aid record.

Follow these steps:

• Log into the Catamount Gateway https://itapp.wcu.edu/NewAdmit/
• Use your student ID
• Select View Financial Aid Information
• If the financial aid processing has been completed you will see your award.
• Be sure to check the Requirements section above your award to see if any additional documentation is required before your award can be disbursed.
