What Students Need to Submit:
The Office of Admission will evaluate each undergraduate freshman application once the application and required documents (official transcripts, scores, etc.) have been received. Please allow 2-3 weeks upon sending documentation to allow items to be processed.
Application Requirements:
- Complete Freshman Application (all applications are non-binding)
- Application fee of $50 (some students may qualify for a fee waiver based on financial need)
- Official transcripts from all schools attended
- Official test scores
High School Minimum Course Requirements:
Whether first-year applicants are enrolled in public, private or home school; North Carolina or out-of-state school systems; or high school equivalency programs, they must earn a high school diploma or its equivalent and satisfy the Minimum Course Requirements (MCR) as established by the UNC Board of Governors:
- Four units of English
- Two units of social studies (one in U.S. history)
- Four units of mathematics (algebra I, algebra II, geometry and an advanced unit of mathematics beyond algebra II)
- Three units of science (life science, physical science and a laboratory course)
- Two units of one language other than English
Admission Application Deadline:
| November 15: | Freshman Early Action/Great Grades Guarantee application deadline-Fall Term. |
| February 1: | Regular Action I Freshman application deadline for Fall Term. |
| March 1: | Regular Action II Freshman application deadline for Fall Term. |
| May 1: | Freshman tuition deposit deadline for Fall Term. |
