Since joining the faculty in the College of Business at Western Carolina University (WCU) in 1984, Professor Nixon has taught in the Business Administration and Law and in the Master of Project Management (MPM) degree programs and consulted in industry on legal and project management issues. She is currently the director of the university's totally internet-based MPM degree program.
