Description
The department of Business Computer Information Systems and Economics is seeking a full-time, tenure-track assistant or associate professor of Computer Information Systems. Applicants should have an interest in teaching an introductory management systems course at the MBA level. Other areas of teaching interest should include: visual basic, database management, networking/telecommunications, systems analysis and design, and some programming languages. Normal teaching load for faculty is three courses each semester. Faculty member may be required to teach a graduate course on campus or off campus in Asheville (55 miles away). Salary range competitive with regionally accredited AACSB institutions.

Training and Experience Requirements
This position requires a Doctorate Degree in CIS or related field (preferably from an AACSB institution). Candidates who have achieved ABD status will also be considered. Applicants with teaching experience will be preferred.
