POLICIES AND PROCEDURE FOR THE PICNIC AREA

1. No alcoholic beverages are permitted on site.

2. Reservations may be made on a first come first serve basis.

3. To use the facilities you must make reservations in advance.

4. The maximum number of participants for the picnic area should be no more than 100. Groups with over 100 will be evaluated on a per case basis and a decision will be made depending on the University schedule and parking availability.

5. The gate will be locked at 9:00pm during the season, April 1 to October 30. During off season the gate will be locked at 6:00pm.

6. Vehicles will be permitted in established parking areas only. It is the responsibility of the person making the reservation to inform all participants in their group that parking is not permitted on the grass. If spaces are not available, they should use the parking lot at the entrance. Large groups are asked to carpool.

7. User must have reservation sheet in possession at all times; reservations are for assigned areas only.

8. Softball and basketball areas are for picnic users only on a first come first serve basis. You must supply your own game equipment.

9. Please report any facility or reservation problems to the A.K. Hinds University Center, or 210 Administrative Offices at 7206. In case of an emergency, please contact Public Safety at 7103.

10. Please remove all game equipment from area.

11. Please place trash in receptacles.
