Chancellor's Update – February 4, 2005
Western Carolina University will formally announce plans on Friday, February 18, for the Millennial Initiative, a significant campus expansion that has the potential to substantially benefit our campus community and all Western North Carolina. This announcement will be one of the most important in the University’s 115-year history.
You are invited to participate in this historical event at 1:30 p.m. in the A.K. Hinds University Center Theatre.
Business, governmental, and economic development leaders from the 11 western-most counties have been invited to join us on our campus for the formal announcement. Senior representatives of the University of North Carolina system, State government, and state and regional economic development entities will be on hand to discuss the importance of this initiative.
