Academic status: Senior; history major and anthropology minor
I tutor courses in history and anthropology. My interests include Atlantic world history, Native American and African American cultures, Christopher Columbus, race relations in history, the connections between language and culture, and the expeditions of Spanish conquistadors.
In my spare time (ha, ha), I write articles for the Western Carolinian, coordinate the CAT Center's Academic Workshops, and lead a weekly Verbal-SAT prep group for pre-nursing students. My future plans include going to graduate school to earn a Ph.D. in Atlantic world history. |
