Mountain Heritage Center
Gallery A: Migration of the Scotch-Irish People (permanent exhibition). The story of early settlers to Western Norht Carolina.

The People of the Land.  An introduction to Cherokee heritage sites in Cullowhee. Through May 2004.

Gallery C: All Things Iron: Practical and Decorative Ironware. A collection of over 200 iron items from private collectors in South Carolina, Georgia, and North Carolina. Objects date from the 1600s to the 1900s and include cooking implements, blacksmith and farrier tools, lighting devices, hinges, and other ironware.  Through December.

Gallery B: Mama's Aprons. Over 60 aprons chronicle the apron's place in the past and in the present. Through July 6.
