Catamount Club - Be A Champion

At Western Carolina University Athletics, what keeps us inspired every day isn't the winning score; it's our more than 300 student athletes and their successes both on and off the field. The difference that we are making in their lives is the part of our job that matters most. The truth is, every day they influence and inspire us and our campus community even more than we impact them.

These student athletes are here at WCU because of people like you -- people who have decided to be a champion in the lives of young people with unlimited potential. Your gift to the Western Carolina Catamount Club will change a life, it will make our teams stronger and it will profoundly impact our campus for the better. There's no better way to tell that story than through the lives of our students. Watch their stories:

Keion Crossen

Keion is a leading defensive back for Catamount football, but he's also a champion for his teammates, providing them with inspiration on and off the field.

Kasey Cooke

Kasey started every 2016 matchup for Catamount Soccer while maintaining a 4.0 GPA. She's a rock. But, she says the team has given her unmatched support through countless setbacks and day-to-day struggles.

Tamilia Wright

Tamilia's life was headed down the wrong path until she found track and field and earned a scholarship to WCU. Now, she's studying to be a social worker so she can be a champion for troubled teens, helping them discover their potential just like she discovered her own.
