2016/2017 LINE UP:

Tarocco, A Soldier's Tale
The Italian tradition of the Comedia dell’arte grows strange wings in Tarocco: A Soldier’s Tale– a mesmerizing fusion of circus arts, dance, mask-and-puppet theater, original music, elaborate costumes, and lushly animated video. Tarocco tells the story of an Italian WWI infantryman, trapped behind enemy lines after barely escaping the gas attacks at Caporetto. To pass the time, the soldier comforts a dying comrade with stories using the images from an ancient deck of playing cards known as the Tarocco Piemontese (a predecessor of modern Tarot cards). What follows is a spellbinding and dark narrative based on the Fool’s Journey of the Tarot.

9/30/16    Tzakbu (The Red Queen)
Tzakbu (The Red Queen); live pre-hispanic music, dance, rituals, and magnificent costumes recreate priests, servants, warriors, and rulers in a fascinating performance full of colors, aromas, and sensations that will transport us into the heart of the Mayan world. Theatre performance inspired by a historical event.

11/11/16  Cellist/singer-songwriter Shana Tucker
Cellist/singer-songwriter Shana Tucker delivers a unique voice through her self-described genre of "ChamberSoul". With a deep respect for lyrical storytelling, Shana's melodies weave strong hints of jazz, classical, soulful folk, acoustic pop and a touch of sassy R&B into a distinctive rhythmic tapestry.

2/24/17    Rhonda Vincent and The Rage
Rhonda Vincent and The Rage: World Class Musicians, and an Award Winning Voice seamlessly set the stage for a breathtaking one-of-a-kind, must see performance; that reaches beyond the boundaries of bluegrass music!

3/13/17    The Nile Project (One of the tightest cross-cultural collaborations)
The Nile Project: One of the tightest cross-cultural collaborations. From their debut concert, captured live on the 2013 release, it was clear that the Nile Project was something completely new. NPR named the recording one of five "Must Hear International Albums."

4/29/17    Artrageous: An Interactive Art & Music Experience.
ARTRAGEOUS: An Interactive Art & Music Experience. From the moment you enter the theatre lobby, the experience begins! In the theatre performance giant artworks jump to life with amazing speed unveiling larger than life art in just moments. You will enjoy a continued interaction with the performers as they leave the theatre.
