Venue Usage
The Bardo Arts Center has been created to serve Western Carolina University and Western
North Carolina. In order to coordinate the use of BAC to best serve the university
and the region, user groups have been established. These designations have been created
to ensure that proposed activities are compatible with the mission of the university
and that of BAC; that the activities conform to established university standards and
policies; and that the activities comply with the Umstead Act (G.S. 66-58) and other legal requirements. Reservations must be made by groups, agencies, or corporations;
reservations by individuals will not be accepted. The facility is limited to performances,
