I am very pleased to be the new Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences. There's
always a certain amount of excitement associated with a new school year and
with new challenges. For me, it is a very new year with some very new challenges. The College of Arts and Sciences is a remarkably diverse academic community.
However, we all share one goal: we are here to unlock the minds of the next
generation. I think that you will find that our entire college is truly dedicated
to this task. I am, indeed, honored to be here and look forward to the many exciting challenges
